As a professional dancer and an aspiring actress, Gemma graduated from London Studio Centre in 2009 with a BA (Hons) in Dance and Theatre Performance. She came to dance and acting at the tender age of four taking dance class at her local dance school and acting workshops at the renowned Tricycle Theatre. St. Marylebone Specialist Arts College offered her a dance scholarship and it was here where her passion for performance was enhanced and the decision to pursue a career in the entertainment industry was made.Â
She was classically trained and loved the dramatic expression that dance encompasses. Her style is technical and lyrical with a commercial edge, which makes her movement very captivating and unique to watch. Coupled with her knowledge of vast dance styles and history, Gemma does not just concentrate on moves but uses the choreographers’ visionary ideals to portray movement effectively.
Presently, she is exploring many career opportunities in the commercial industry and her training has given her versatility to do this effectively. Commercial Modeling is another passion of hers, which she is intent on pursuing. Her professional work experience has been in Theatre, music videos and commercials but TV and film is inevitably the direction she would like her career to lead. She is a confident improviser, energetic individual who is extremely self-motivated and feels she is a natural mover on camera.
