London born Anglo Burmese, Dawn Skelton has featured in numerous photographic and television commercial campaigns. Recent features include 'Gatwick Airport,' 'Morrisons' and 'Cow and Gate'. She can portray a diverse range of ethnicities and has appeared in various regions including India and South America.
Dawn studied Acting at City Lit, and TV Presenting with Kathryn Wolfe. She also holds full Equity membership.
Dawn's performing arts training started with dance. She was ISTD trained in Ballet by Dr Margaret Gajewski, and in Modern and Tap by Sam Spencer-Lane. Her modelling career started in 1998 working in pop videos, hair and beauty and catalogues. She then travelled extensively, spending a substantial amount of time in India where she practised Yoga and created her own clothing range. Mother of two, Dawn settled back in London when her oldest child started nursery in 2006.
Dawn has a clear and natural RP native accent, and having presented a drive time radio show in 2012 she also has live broadcast experience.
