John began his modeling career with the help of a local male fashion retail store back in the 80’s. He became the regular face on Sirdar knitting patterns. Very soon due to his natural sense of rhythm and love of dance John was choreographing and directing his own catwalk sessions.
Johns clean cut good looks; professionalism, enthusiasm, personality and his ability to take direction soon saw John working for independent and national companies alike such as, Puma, Alexander of England, and British Rail promotions Hornsea Pottery etc. etc.
In addition to photographic/Catwalk John has worked in Film, Glory Boys, (Anthony Perkins) Romance on the Orient express (Cheryl Ladd) TV commercials for Hornsea Pottery walk on TV parts in Brookside, Last of the Summer Wine, Darling buds of may, 3-2-1 Emmerdale, Duty free, The Bounder and a model for Calendar news.
John Left for the US and lived in Los Angeles, California. Where he continued to work in photographic, commercials and various promotions with British themes i.e. Virgin Atlantic, The British Festival at South Coast Plaza.
After a twenty year cap working in the UK John has recently returned to the business with commercials for Thomson's Cruise holidays, Furniture company commercials, Photography Irwin Mitchell solicitors, Chartered society of Physiotherapy, TV reconstruction drama for Crime & investigation Channel.
