Through her work as a dancer in cabaret and music hall (in Spain) Sara discovered a love of acting, and her own talents in dramatic performance. Acting became her passion.
After leaving her dance career she studied acting, and trained in Stanivslasky , Strasberg’s Method, and Lecoq with prestigious teachers in Barcelona and Madrid. Given her previous training in dance and singing, she specialized in musical theatre, and graduated in Film Acting from ECAM, Spain’s most important film school.
Subsequently she has worked in theatre, film, and television, and has been commended for her versatility and her professionalism – not to mention her acting talent.
On the stage she has undertaken roles ranging from classical (“Ninette& Murcia’s man”, “Three Hats”) to contemporary (such as fringe and work-in-progress theatre like “Dkden-t”). Sara has acted in drama series for Canal+, TV3 and biopics for A3. She is a natural comedienne and has played roles in TV comedy sketch shows, late night shows such as “Buenafuente”, and improvisational sitcoms such as “Odd”.
Alongside her acting career, Sara is training and practicing the art of directing actors, in order to help professional directors understand better how to work with actors. To this end, she has trained in the Working with Actors programme at the prestigious EICTV in Cuba, with Stephen Bayly, using Meisner Technique.
