Farooq
Farooq was discovered by a hair stylist, who not only took the shots for his first portfolio but helped launch him soon afterwards in a Mercedes-Benz fashion show. Since then, Farooq has had a successful modelling career – in front of the camera and on the ramp - encompassing clients like British Telecom, Nokia, P&G: Head and Shoulders, Eurostar and Halifax Bank Plc. His professional/business look has brought his look to the attention of such esteemed clients.
He has starred in numerous corporate videos for clients such as Royal Mail and PriceWaterHouse Coopers. Although not a professional actor, these have shoed Farooq’s acting versatility.
Farooq has also extensive experience of compering television shows and melas. He has appeared on ARY Digital Network and PTV Prime; both of which are transmitted to over 70 countries. Recently, he was the lead compere for the Asian Jewel Awards in London.
As well as being fluent in English, he speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. He is a keen sportsman, with good ability in Cricket, Football, Hockey, Squash, Swimming and Weight Training.
Overall, he prides himself on being a professional, smart and flexible. He possesses a unique sense of humour, which makes working with him easy (and fun!).
