Amy Garcia
Amy is an accomplished and dynamic presenter with over 10 years experience in front of the camera. Since her first TV series at the age of 18 on ITV1, she has racked up over 5000 hours of Live TV and is a wiz with auto cue, talkback and adlibbing through sticky live situations!
Amy has worked with most of the major UK TV channels and is currently a member to the BBC News team in Yorkshire working as a Broadcast Journalist and a regular presenter of the 3 o'clock News. The past couple of years have seen her front several property and lifestyle series, a movie review series on SKY and take a lead role in ITV1 series ‘Rock Rivals’.
In the Corporate sector she has worked at exhibitions delivering presentations for Global clients such as Sony, Canon, Volkswagon, Suzuki, BBC food show, MTV, SKY Sports and Levis. She also regularly fronts road shows, award evenings and Press launches. Amy is a peoples person and a natural at crowd pulling and audience interactionAmy is half Spanish and originally from Yorkshire. As a teenager she toured with a number of shows with the National Youth Music Theatre and after completing her A levels set out on her professional career in Entertainment. At 18 she became the youngest ever show singer to join P&O for a Millennium world cruise and travelled the globe in style for 6 month. She then ditched the sequins and moved to London for her first presenting role and has lived in the capital ever since.
